As a mother of two HCPSS graduates, Jean Xu is deeply grateful for the excellent education her children received. She is committed to ensuring future generations have access to the same high-quality education. Jean will fight for adequate school funding, support educators, and promote equitable opportunities so all students can succeed.
Jean’s record:
→ Initiated educational programs for students from underrepresented and underserved communities, supporting special education families and expanding STEM opportunities after school and during the summer.
→ Served on the HCPSS Operating Budget Review Committee, gaining a deep understanding of the school system’s funding needs.
→ Testified multiple times before the County Council, advocating for increased investment in our students, teachers, families, and schools.
